Workshop on The Childless Witch
A FREE WORKSHOP WITH CAMELIA ELIAS
The rebellious academics that organize the wonderful series of lectures Incite Seminars invited me to give an intensive 4-hour workshop around the concepts I explored in my book, The Childless Witch: Trembling, Dance, Voice, Oracle, Grace (2020). I had a great time with a class full of dedicated students.
Since I wrote about voice, images, film, and dance in my book, I was happy for the opportunity to share with my readers the work of the wonderful artists who have inspired my book. Thus, in addition to my workshop notes I included the video material that I could only discuss in m book, but could not show.
Here I present you with the full written notes (47 pages) as delivered on March 27, 2021.
Although these notes relate to the contents of my book, they can still be enjoyed on their own, especially since I go through 7 axioms that explore the significance of posing true questions. Through these notes you can now also enjoy being inspired by the artists I discuss in my book: Zohar Fresco, Maria Callas, Pier Paolo Passolini, Carlotta Ikeda, and Maya Derren.
